The cover illustrates the hierarchical co-assembly of two chromophores, depicted as blue and green blocks, into columnar liquid-crystalline structures. Complementary hydrogen bonding drives the formation of alternating molecular strands, which further organize into well-defined columnar assemblies, represented as skyscrapers. This precise architecture promotes J-type coupling and enhanced fluorescence properties.
